Jenna Hager made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres show Wednesday to talk about her recent marriage to Henry Hager. The first daughter was accompanied to the show by her mother Laura Bush.

The trio sat down and discussed the location of the wedding – the Bush family ranch in Texas. “So, the ranch was a great place to get married – it looked like nobody could fly over and get pictures or bother you, really,” DeGeneres said.

“Yeah, that was really nice,” replied Hagar.

Hager seemed happy to help DeGeneres with her wedding plans to longtime girlfriend Portia De Rossi. She and Rossi announced plans to tie the knot a day after the California Supreme Court lifted a ban on same sex marriages.

“So, can we borrow it for our wedding, can we get the ranch?” DeGeneres asked.

“Sure!” Hager said. “It’s a good idea to do it somewhere private because, to us, it was a really special day to be with family.”
