Jodie Foster has stepped out with her new love Cindy Mort. The 45-year-old actress was spotted shopping with Mort over the weekend.

“Jodie and Cindy became firm friends because of their similar situations. Both are openly out, had long-term girlfriends and were raising children with their partners,” says a source. “But things became complicated when their friendships developed into something more.”

 

The pair met while shooting Foster’s film ‘The Brave One’ last years. Foster’s relationship with Mort is said to be the reason behind her split from longtime girlfriend Cydney Bernard. She and Bernard had been together for nearly 14 years and have two sons together.
